Wiley’s Career
Wiley spent his early career with McMaster-Carr Supply Company, an e-commerce & B2B focused industrial distributor, managing people, processes, and projects. After receiving his MBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship, he worked for DaVita Inc., where he managed a financial analytics and special projects team that focused on capital markets, new market development, and quantifying legislative changes. Wiley then held multiple roles with Performance Team in Finance and Business Operations. In 2020 Performance Team was purchased by Maersk which Wiley supported by leading the Integration Management Office.
In his current role with Maersk, he works cross-functionally to implement technologies that drive scale, help executives develop their growth strategies and work with new companies to improve their supply chains.
In his spare time, Wiley supports the startup community by advising and investing a number of companies and owns a portfolio of multi-family buildings throughout the US.

Global Head, Digital & Data Innovation Logistics & Services
Lead Digital & Data Innovation efforts within the Logistics & Services (Port to Destination) product family for Maersk globally with support from teams across multiple regions. Topics of interest include employee engagement, computer vision, large language models, pricing engines, and digital twins.
Head, Digital Transformation Warehousing & Distribution & Co-Founder Maersk’s Innovation Center
Co-developed Maersk’s first innovation center (“Maersk Innovation Center”) located in New Jersey City, NJ and lead the Digital Transformation arm of the center. Leveraged off the shelf and proprietary technology to achieve Maersk’s vision of end-to-end supply chain integration.

Oversaw operations and financial activities for Commercial, Product (Real Estate & New Products), IT, Engineering, & Implementation in support of the EVP of Shared Services. Manager of Finance, Strategy, & New Center Development
Managed a group of analysts as a part of a strategy and finance team that reports into the office of the CFO of DaVita Kidney Care.
Served as a subject matter expert and standing member on the Capital Allocation committee - approves in capital spend per year for new center development and improvement.
Spearheaded a working group that provided recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and COO on how to allocate $XB in capital from a recent divestiture. Resulting analysis lead group to reallocate capital to specific parts of the country and sub-regions.
McMaster-Carr (2013 - 2017)
Business Operations Management
Orchestrated the planning, assignment, and budgeting for a 200 person sales organization to achieve daily operational productivity and developmental metrics across the organization.
Piloted a reorganization of the branch’s customer order management department, which resulted in a savings of 2 representatives and a 15% increase in responsiveness to customer orders.
Warehouse Operations Management
Rotated through two roles on the operations team for a 1 million square foot warehouse. Led a 50 person material presentation and logistics operation responsible for the preparation and shipment of 20,000 packages a day to local and international destinations.
Designed departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) using direct and indirect value added analysis, which reduced customer impacting error rates by 30%. Presented this information in a dashboard to be used by branch management
Financial Analyst
Evaluated customer accounts to determine credit worthiness and reconciled accounts with client’s accounts payable departments. Managed late paying customer accounts and created plans to get accounts back in current standing.
